Café - The Cellar Door
Please note: The Cellar Door Kitchen is now closed for the season. We will reopen on Friday 29th of March 2019 and look forwards to seeing you then! The wine and cheese tastings will resume the 1st of March 2019 when the shop reopens.
The Cellar Door Kitchen is our wonderful alfresco kitchen café situated in the picturesque grounds here at Sharpham, near Totnes. We are open 7 days a week during the season.
The Cellar Door Kitchen is a new venture from Head chef Daniel Teage and his partner Charlie Ramsdale, producing delicious dishes from a variety of local and seasonal ingredients, including many hand picked from the estate itself by Kai, Sous chef and Head Forager at The Cellar Door.
With 15 years of experience, Daniel has cooked in Devon for most of his career, and has a passion for wild food, and a strong love of the ocean. As a keen Sea angler he enjoys championing lesser known species of fish and cooking sustainable seafood from the abundant supply we have here in the South West.
NB : The Cellar Door change their menu regularly to ensure that they are using the freshest and most seasonal produce. Therefore please use the sample menu as a guideline only.
